About Kathie Stove

I am an editor, writer and trainer with more than 20 years of experience. I work from a purpose-built separate office at home, complete most jobs on electronic files, and communicate with clients by email and phone.

I have a Bachelor of Science (Adelaide), a Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Management (UniSA) and membership of the prestigious Board of Editors in the Life Sciences. In 2008 the Institute of Professional Editors, Australia’s peak body for editing, granted me the status of distinguished editor. I am a former president of the Society of Editors, South Australia, and was convenor of the group that developed the first Australian Standards for Editing Practice.

My work doesn’t come cheap but is cost effective. I might choose to charge ‘worthy causes’ rates in selected instances.
